Only valid for purchases made on www.smithopticsaustralia.com. If you bought your item from a Smith retailer, please return it to the store where it was purchased—they will assist you with submitting a claim in-store
Replacement & Crash Policies
General Replacement Policy
- If your product issue does not fall under our warranty policy, Smith may, at our discretion, be able to replace interchangeable model frames, lenses, and other parts for a fee. Please note that scratched or otherwise abused lenses and fixed lenses are not eligible for this replacement service.
Helmet Crash Replacement Policy
Accidents happen, and your safety is paramount. If your helmet has been involved in a crash, do not continue to use it. Smith offers a 30% off RRP discount for crash replacement helmets.
Minimum requirements to qualify for our crash replacement discount:
- Damage must be from an activity-related crash or impact.
- The crash replacement request must be made within 12 months of the original purchase date, with proof of purchase.
- You must be able to present your crashed helmet and details of the incident that caused the damage.
- You must be the original owner of the helmet.
- Cases of helmet abuse are not eligible for replacement.
- Helmet replacements are limited to one unit per year.
