Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Smith Optics Australia Pty Ltd ("Promoter"), ABN 65 077 570 971of 11 Durkin Place, Peakhurst, NSW, 2210.
2. Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on August 14, 2026, and closes at 11:59pm AEST on August 28, 2026 ("Promotion Period").
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees, contractors, agents and immediate family members of the Promoter and associated agencies directly connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
4. How to Enter
Entry is free.
To enter, eligible participants must during the Promotion Period:
Option A: Meta Entry
• Follow @smithoptics.aus on Instagram and/or Facebook;
• Complete the actions outlined in the giveaway post (if applicable); and
• Submit a valid entry via the form provided on the ads and provide a valid email address.
Option B: Website Entry
• Submit a valid entry via the official Smith Optics Australia website popup form and provide a valid email address.
Only one (1) entry per person unless otherwise stated in the promotional materials.
Incomplete, indecipherable, fraudulent, or automated entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Prize
The total prize pool is valued at AUD $2,500 (including GST where applicable).
The prize consists of Smith Optics products selected by the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not exchangeable except at the Promoter's discretion.
6. Winner Selection
This is a game of chance. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified within seven (7) days of the draw by direct message and/or email.
8. Unclaimed Prize
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
9. Publicity
By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities requested by the Promoter.
10. Privacy & Marketing Communications
By entering this promotion, entrants acknowledge and agree that their personal information will be collected by Smith Optics Australia for the purpose of administering the promotion, contacting winners and delivering prizes.
By entering the promotion, entrants consent to receiving marketing and promotional communications from Smith Optics Australia, including product news, special offers, product launches, events and other brand-related updates. Entrants may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the communication.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Smith Optics Privacy Policy available at https://www.smithopticsaustralia.com.
The Promoter will not sell entrants' personal information to third parties and will only use personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.
11. Meta Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, lost entries or unauthorised interference.
13. Right to Modify
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate the promotion where necessary.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and any applicable state or territory legislation.
